Donald Willis is the founder and manages PowerPlay Radio Network as the station manager and has been actively involved in the broadcasting industry since 1994. He manages the station on a day-to-day basis, with schedules, workflow, and weekly meetings on training, promotions, events and evaluating talent for potential radio personalities. He began his career at KKDA Soul 73 (Service Broadcasting Co.) as the producer of "The Carmen Pagano Show" and after one year became the co-host of "Talking Sports" w/Roger B. Brown. From 1995 to 2007 he interviewed personalities in the NFL, NBA, MLB, amateur sports, media executives and has been very active in the community.
His knowledge, humor, and sports savvy was a joy to listeners who tuned in each day with hot topics, in-depth interviews, and community related events. Mr. Willis' coverage of events such as the Essence Music Festival, Super Bowl XLV, 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend, UIL High School Championships, and other major venues around the country is why he is passionate about radio broadcasting and the opportunities it brings.
He was a columnist for DFW Elite News from 2002 to 2005 and the Downtown Business News (DTBN), a small business publication based in Dallas, TX from 2005 to 2008. He was a part-time freelance high school reporter for the Dallas Morning News from 1997-2008 and a guest columnist for the North Dallas Gazette. From 2011 to 2013 he was the Promotions Manager at Fishbowl Radio Network, where he hosted "Sports Talk with Spider", a weekly sports show with hot sports topics and interviews.
Mr. Willis is also a media consultant for All-Star Sports Marketing Co., a sports media company that provides marketing packages to high school athletic programs throughout the state of Texas. He is one of the premier (PA) public address announcers in the area and can be heard announcing high school football, basketball, and other amateur sports throughout the North Texas region.
He is married to Trudy M. Willis and they have two adult children that reside in New York, NY and Dallas, TX.
Trudy is responsible for day–to-day station operations and achieving revenue goals with the sales department by managing inventory cost, hiring staff and maintaining market visibility. She controls and manages station expenses with weekly updates to management. She has an extensive background in accounting and was employed for 22 years as a business analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank in New Orleans, La., and Atlanta, Ga.
Trudy has a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and mentors students in math and algebra. She also enjoys traveling, Zumba, theater, reading and is an avid New Orleans Saints fan and loves cooking her favorite creole cuisine. She is married to Donald Willis and they have two adult children that reside in New York, NY and Dallas, TX.
Gena Irby Hill is responsible for the administrative side of the station’s overall operation with computer savvy manipulations not limited to electronic files, in addition to document developments, and business support along with hosting a show on Sundays.
Gena’s many years of experience and education in administrative assistant and artistic background is a welcome addition to the overall operation of the radio station. She developed computer expertise in college when the personal computer was first introduced and never lost that drive.
She is a resource of knowledge, skill, and is proficient on many computer programs while striving to stay relevant in technology. As a naturally motivated individual she has established her gifts and talents throughout Dallas. With her composed demeanor and love for Jesus Christ, she brings a sense of stability to any environment.

Mona is a Media Consultant for PowerPlay Radio Network. Mona sets the strategy and oversees branding, marketing, public relations and all efforts supporting the programming produced at Power Play Radio Network. She develops, creates and brainstorms promotions and marketing visions to the sales department to ensure PowerPlay Radio maintains and increases its market share.
She is from Tulsa, OK and graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Mona has a strong belief in education, obtaining dual Masters Degrees from Webster University and Keller Graduate School of Management. Mona is active with the Guardian ad Litem Program in her community and enjoys traveling, reading, jewelry making and is an avid movie buff.

Social Media Manager
Phyllis is the/Social Media Manager at PowerPlay Radio and POWER TV. She is the intricate piece to the station with social media updates, planning,strategy and goal setting awareness. She maintains the website in a timely matter and keeps the other social media platforms thriving and current. Her feedback to the staff and radio/TV hosts is implemented with direction on training, events and goal setting.
Phyllis spends her time volunteering to women who served in the military. She enjoys reading ,tutoring students in graphics . She is also host Phyl the Jazz with Phyllis a show about smooth jazz and the education of fine wines from all over the world. She also travel throughout the country attending jazz oncerts and wineries.
John H. Harris
John is the Relationship/Project Manager for PowerPlay Radio and POWER TV. John provides leadership to the station’s local sales efforts by giving direction, training and feedback to radio hosts. He assists staff in maintaining, prospecting and developing new clients and new business ventures to ensure station goals are met. John also establishes and maintains key advertiser relationships and is active in community involvement.
John has spent more than three decades as a sports journalist in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Tanpa Bay, Ohio, and Lexington, Ky. He has been the lead sports columnist and beat writer for professional teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic, and Power 5 college programs including Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Pitt, Florida State, Florida and Miami.
He co-hosted the "Ike Taylor Radio Show" in Pittsburgh for five years and was a broadcaster for Pittsburgh Power Arena Football games for two years. He attended multiple Super Bowls, Final Fours, NBA Finals, Kentucky Derbys, a host of national championship college football games and the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. John is the recipient of numerous national, regional, state and local writing awards.
